August 8th, 9:30 A.M to 4 P.M.- Little Miami River Cleanup

Hosted by Loveland Canoe and Kayak.  Cleanup materials provided.  Free canoe rental to first 40 registrants.

August 14th, 12 P.M.- Learn to Canoe with RU

August 15, 12 P.M.- Benchmark Outfitters Cleanup on the Great Miami River

August 21- The Fremont Paddling Festival

Join us for a day of paddling and celebration on the Great Miami River.  The event features 10 and 19 mile races for canoes and kayaks and a 5 mile recreational float.  Visit the event site and register today!

August 28- Citizens' Great Miami River Water Quality Project

August 27-29- The Whispering Beard Folk Festival

A three-day outdoor music fest on the banks of the Licking River, in Morning View, KY.  This year's headliner is the legendary Guy Clark.  A portion of event beer sales will go towards Rivers Unlimited's programs.  Visit the event site.

September 11- Paddle with a Purpose (A Benefit for Lung Cancer Research)

Takes place at Green Acres Canoe Livery on the Whitewater River.  Please visit the event site for details.
